THE BEST LAWYER STORY SO FAR

One afternoon a lawyer was riding in his limousine
when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass.
Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop and he got
out to investigate.

He asked one man, "Why are you eating grass?"

"We don't have any money for food," the poor man
replied. "We have to eat grass."

"Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll
feed you," the lawyer said.

"But sir, I have a wife and two children with me. They
are over there, under that tree."

"Bring them along," the lawyer replied. Turning to the
other poor man he stated,

"You come with us, too."

The second man, in a pitiful voice, then said, "But
sir, I also have a wife and SIX children with me!"

"Bring them all, as well," the lawyer answered.

They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even
for a car as large as the limousine was.

Once underway, one of the poor fellows turned to the
lawyer and said, "Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for
taking all of us with you."

my place. The grass is almost a foot high

Mom comes to visit her son Kumar for dinner.....who lives with a girl
roommate Sunita. During the course of the meal, his mother couldn't
help but notice how pretty Kumar's roommate was. She had long been
suspicious of a relationship between the two, and this had only made her more
curious.

Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she
started to wonder if there was more between Kumar and his roommate than
met the eye.

Reading his mom's thoughts, Kumar volunteered, "I know what you must be
thinking, but I assure you, Sunita and I are just roommates." About a
week later, Sunita came to Kumar saying, "Ever since your mother came to
dinner, I've been unable to find the silver plate. You don't suppose
she took it, do you?" Kumar said,"Well, I doubt it, but I'll email her, just to be sure."

So he sat down and wrote :

Dear Mother:

I'm not saying that you 'did' take the silver plate from my house, I'm
not saying that you 'did not' take the silver plate.. But the fact remains
that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.

Several days later, Kumar received an email from his Mother which read

Dear Son:

I'm not saying that you 'do' sleep with Sunita, and I'm not saying that
you 'do not' sleep with Sunita. But the fact remains that if she was
sleeping in her OWN bed, she would have found the silver plate by now

I wanted to thank all my friends and family who have forwarded chain
letters to me in 2004 & 2005.

Because of your kindness:

* I stopped drinking Coca Cola after I found out that it's good for
removing toilet stains.

* I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle infected
with AIDS.
* I smell like a wet dog since I stopped using deodorants because they
cause cancer.

* I don't leave my car in the parking lot or any other place and
sometimes I even have to walk about 7 blocks for fear that someone will
drug me with a perfume sample and try to rob me.

* I also stopped answering the phone for fear that they may ask me to
dial a stupid number and then I get a phone bill from hell with calls to
Uganda, Singapore and Tokyo.

* I also stopped drinking anything out of a can for fear that I will get
sick from the rat feces and urine.

* When I go to parties, I don't look at any girl, no matter how hot she
is, for fear that she will take me to a hotel, drug me then take my
kidneys and leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice.

* I also donated all my savings to the Amy Bruce account. A sick girl
that was about to die in the hospital about 7,000 times. (Poor girl!
she's been 7 since 1993...)

* I went bankrupt from bounced checks that I made expecting the $15,000
that Microsoft and AOL were supposed to send me when I participated in
their special e-mail program would arrive soon.

* My free Nokia phone never arrived and neither did the free passes for
a paid vacation to Disneyland.
* Still open to help some from Bulgaria who wants to use my account to
transfer his uncle property who died in a plane crash with all his
family, and also leaving no relatives, of some hundred thousand million
$.

* Made some Hundred wishes before forwarding those Ganesh Vandana,
Tirupathi Balaji pics etc.. now most of those 'Wishes' are already
married (to someone else)....maybe they must've forwarded it many times
much before I had done it.

Gone are the days...........
When the school reopened in June,
And we settled in our new desks and benches.
When we queued up in book depot,And got our new books and notes.
When we wanted two Sundays and no Mondays,
yet Managed to line up daily for the morning prayers.
We learnt writing with slates and pencils,
antiperspiranted To fountain pens and ball pens and then micro tips.
We began drawing with crayons
and evolved toColor pencils and finally sketch pens.
We started calculating first with tables
and then withLog tables and advanced to calculators and computers.
When we chased one another in the corridors inIntervals,
and returned to the classrooms drenched in sweat.
When we had lunch in classrooms, corridors,Playgrounds,
under the trees and even in cycle shed.
When all the colors in the world,
Decorated the campus on the Second Saturdays.
When a single P.T. period in the week's Time Table,
Was awaited more eagerly than the monsoons.
When cricket was played with writing pads as bats,
And Neckties and socks rolled into balls.
When few played "kabadi" and "Kho-Kho" in scorching sun,
While others simply played "book cricket" in the confines of classroom.
Of fights but no conspiracies,

When we used to watch Live Cricket telecast,
In the opposite house in Intervals and Lunch breaks.
When few rushed at 1:45 to "Conquer" window seats in our School bus.

Gone are the days Of Sports Day,
and the annual School Day,
And the one-month long preparations for them.
Gone are the days Of the stressful Quarterly,Half Yearly and Annual Exams,
And the most enjoyed holidays after them.
Of tenth and twelfth standards,
when we Spent almost the whole yearwritingrevision tests.
We learnt, we enjoyed, we played, we won, we lost,
We laughed, we cried, we fought, we thought.
With so much fun in them, so many friends,
So much experience, all this and more.
Gone are the days when we used to talk for hours with our friends.
Now we don't have time to say a HI.
Gone are the days when we played games on the road.
Now we code on the road with laptop.
Gone are the days when we saw stars shining at night.
Now we see stars when our code doesn't work.
Gone are the days when we sat to chat with friends on grounds.

Gone are the days where we studied just to pass.

John Travolta's 'house'

So, this is supposed to be John Travolta's house.

There was a series of pictures, but it made most sense to publish this one, considering it sums up everything there is to say about John Travoltas house. It's huge, He's got a jetplane (trivia enthusiasts are welcome to add more) and this makes it obvious that he's loaded with money.

Two questions come to mind now.

Who took the time and effort to compile all these pictures into a single mail?

And what is it about obscene amounts of money that makes everyone want to circulate examples of it in their own way?
